Drop in Adult Crochet
Grab your closest friends, pull up a stool and let's get creative!
In these 2 hour workshops, we will provide crocheting assistance to beginners through advanced crocheters currently working on a project.
Never crocheted? No worries! Everyone is invited to stop in to begin the journey of learning about the wonderful world of crochet! Over several weeks we will teach you about yarn, hooks and other tools, and start you on the most basic crochet stitches: the chain stitch, single, and double crochet. We will help you crochet a beautiful scarf, a cozy lap blanket and teach you to read a crochet pattern.
You must provide your own supplies.
Supplies needed: 2 crochet hooks - size H8/5mm and size L/8mm Yarns: Size 6 super bulky (recommended Bernat Blanket) (10.50oz/300g) - 4 balls; Size 4 worsted weight (recommend Red Heart or Valla’s Choice, a solid light color works best) - 2 balls; Yarn, needle, scissors (stitch markers are helpful but not required.)
